A good weekend was enjoyed. On Thursday night I drank a good deal. I actually played some drinking games, though I suffered from the problem that while everyone else drinks according to rules, I drink according to those, plus every other time I just want to drink. So I was getting more drunk than those who were 'losing' these games. Had a lot of fun though. Got a nice bruise while playing twister with the Irish girls. I had NO FUCKING BALANCE WHATSOEVER. I barely got all four limbs to the board before there was lots of falling and retardedness. As you can tell, I had a good bit of fun. Work the next day was rough, as I was still drunk and almost stumbling at the office. Ouch.

Friday, had a poker night. Lost. But I had fun, and I got to enjoy a nice chill breeze coming in through the window, and just knowing that for once, I wouldn't be sweating like a mad man anymore. I love the signs that the fall is coming!

Saturday I worked at the bar, and I have to say, that if I were the boss at my bar, my manager would get fired in a fucking heartbeat for being a racist, ignorant (not just as race is concerned, but in many aspects), dramatic douchebag. Just an example, he happens to be telling myself and a friend a story about some asshole who had the audacity to write a check to him, and then gets angry when he tries to deposit the check. Though the story matters not, he kept referring to this guy as the "fuckin jap". First, the person he's talking about is Phillipino, and he knows this. Second, my friend sitting there, who my boss knows just married a young Japanese woman, is sitting there, everytime going "fuck, do you have to keep saying that" every time my boss calls this guy the "fuckin jap". Note, my boss continued telling more people this story throughout the night, and he kept referring to him every time he told the story, as the "fucking jap". Piece of work, eh? Crap, now I'm saying "eh", cause for some odd reason, tons of Canadians were in the bar that night. Everytime I met someone new, they were from Canada, or so it seemed. I hear them say it quite a bit, not to mention I teased them for it somewhat.

Then there was this guy from DC. My boss is a jackass when it comes to politics. This is a guy who promised to never buy anything French for the bar again after France wasn't into killing Iraqis. Dumbass didn't realize that so many wonderful products in a bar come from France. Regardless, he's since jumped on the liberal train, though for what reasons, I can't be sure, because he can't articulate those reasons worth a damned. Anyways, he got into this argument about politics with this guy from DC. I first heard the argument, so I decided to stay out of it, since it was a battle of the nitwits. This guy is the ultimate type of Republican. He's already declaring what you have to say is irrelevant, because he's already said the only thing that matters. Fortunately, I know how to deal with these type of people. And although I know he will not change his mind on his beliefs, I'll at least provide the other side of the coin for anyone who might be listening in (which were several actually, cause they had been making a scene). I forced him to listen to me while he tried to interrupt my say-so. Asking him to listen to my whole reasoning for something before he dismissed it. In the end, though I chose not to say it to his face, because you say these things to someone's face, they tend just to dig their heels in more, as they have already done up to this point. But I told my boss that he lives by fear. He's more scared of a terrorist who has less likelihood of killing you than being struck by lightning. His final position, which he agreed with my summation of it, was that though our current policy in Iraq is in no way helping, he'd rather kill them than let the terrorists attack us over here. I'm glad I was drinking. Had I not been drinking, I might have turned into an asshole on Saturday.

On Sunday I stayed at home and read some. I drank a bottle of Lambic brewed with Muscat Grapes. It was an incredibly fantastic beer. I'm still trying to decide how to describe it. I need a few more bottles before I can really describe it I am afraid. Guess I'll have to buy more.

I hope everyone had a great weekend out there. The weather in Boston is beautiful. I'm feeling great today, and I have a feeling it will last for a good long while.

You are adorable. Thank you for the birthday wishes. I'm glad you're well.

The weather in Boston IS beautiful! I've visited really frequently lately. Maybe it's time I moved back...?
