I love my life more than words can describe. Tuesday I got to spend a lovely evening with my friends having a cookout, then watching the documentary The Smartest Men in the Room. The Enron documentary. I was amazed at how much I didn't know about the whole Enron ordeal. I was also stunned by the lack of oversight into their business dealings, especially considering the whole 'mark to market' concept they were using. Just a wild lot of information. The beers of the evening were Duchess de Burgoene, Kasteel, and Three Philosophers. On the grill we had corn on the cobb grilled in its husk, potatoes with shallots, garlic, pepperoni (also grilled), and a type of white fish (not sure what it was, but it was tasty, and also on the grill). It was nice charcoal grill, so it added that nice extra good flavor. Yum. The people make all the difference though. Just such life in these people make me love them so much more.

Yesterday it was like a hurricane here. The rain was amazing, although a bit much to go out in. All throughout downtown it was a mess of dead umbrellas. I just laugh on days like those, where its no use to even bring an umbrella out.

Had a really interesting beer last night. My buddy Jim brought it over. I'd like to say the brand was Harvest (it was a UK company that brewed it), and it was aged in Lagavulin casks. It was amazing. My description of it, it was a beer with a scotch aftertaste. The peet flavor crept up on you shortly after taking a sip. First you would taste the strong been flavor, but then, it's like you just drank some scotch. And at 11.9% it was a nice strong beer. I'm interested to try out their other flavors. The Port and Sherry cask aged beers I'm most interested in.

Tonight shall be a quiet night. I'm planning to sit back and listen to some beach boys so I can help my buddy Peter write a song in their style. Should be interesting. I wonder if this means I'll be thinking in falsetto ... perhaps.

I thought Noah's Flood had come again to Boston yesterday.

I'm just beginning to like beer again. Hmmm.
