Lost at poker again last night. I just don't seem to have any luck on my side. For the most part, I was in fact playing very well, until I lost. Perhaps Vegas will treat me with a bit more kindness. Less than two weeks till then.
Tonight I'm going to get very drunk. This always tends to happen when Jim and myself try to watch an episode of 24 (we started with the first season, and we've been struggling to get through a full episode. Every time we start an episode, we start drinking, and by the halfway point of the episode, we've drank too much and are talking loudly and not paying attention to what's happening at all). I'll enjoy the hell out of it though. Some good old Ardebag scotch is a lovely treat.
Before I do that, I'm going to have a cute girl pour me some scotch and a guiness. I think I'm going to write a song about cute girls pouring me booze. It shouldn't be too creepy ... well, maybe a little, in my own sort of way.
