Sometimes I have to wonder if I'm just a fool. I swore I wouldn't watch the State of the Union, but to my dismay I was unable to keep away. The whole damn thing was a pep rally though. With the cued clap tracks and all. Pretty words mean only as much as the actions that follow. Yes, we should improve certain areas of our governing, but should and will are two entirely different words. And the threat to Iran. Hopefully that won't be the 2006 election platform. Or maybe, hopefully it will. I suppose it depends on how scared the president can make the American people by November. What color terror alert are we at now?
