So new job is going great. And not just great but I absolutely love it! I am still getting used to the hours but damn if I don't think it is awesome! Everyone is really great and I can edit in peace at night without too many people around. Downside though is that their Avid systems are a little behind the times. I am actually having to learn backwards on some things. I am getting way to geeky here but the Boris effects are so old, that I have never actually worked on that version before, I have only worked on version 4 and above which has an entirely different interface. And most of the PC's are more than a little bogged down and the Interplay system seems a little off. But having never worked in Interplay before I am excited to learn.
Regardless the show is fun. It is like play time for me being able to come up with wacky sound effects and tons of layers of effects and things for a simple half hour kids show. And from what I gather the kids, and parents, absolutely love this program nationwide. And this is my first national TV show now which is also pretty exciting. I have worked on local TV programs, PBS series, feature films, and numerous other video production but nothing nationally distributed. So kind of fun.
As for this weekend...blah. Plans with a girl fell apart and I think that might just be about it on that front unfortunately. I don't know if anything will come of it, crap. Everyone is pretty busy this weekend and I am getting sick of going out by myself. But none of my other friends seem to have money to go out nor the desire. It sucks. I hope something comes up, and that includes me...Ha ha ...ha...ha, oh never mind.
