I saw Watchmen this evening, if the book had to be made into a movie, I don't think it could have gotten any better than the one that was released today. There were a few omissions and a few changes, one of which I wasn't thrilled with, but the film really managed to capture the story, and the way it made you feel. Rorschach was brought to life by Jackie Earle Haley, that was an amazing bit of casting and a very good piece of acting. 4 out of 5 stars from me.
The one thing that's going to be interesting is to see what people think of the movie if they go into it with no knowledge of the story. Time will tell.
