so i've come to the conclusion.
i think hugsygirl and i are cursed.
seriously. we seem to have the WORST luck with landlords.
so rod and joan come up today to talk to us about the cat situation.
so we sit there and altho i'm not gunna get into details .. here is basically what they said to us :
-they've never seen joolia's (our other roommates) room, but it has to be dirty
-it's our fault the mice are still here
-how dare we bring the law into this
-we are not allowed to call them anymore - we are only allowed to communicate with them through mail
-we never bring our garbage out
-they were contemplating opening up our garbage bags to see what was inside
-that they want to start a family and that's why we can't have a CAT and frankly it's none of our business
-they are going to come up every so often to check and see that we're keeping the place clean (they will give us 24 hrs)
-kept talking to hugsygirl and i like we were 10 yrs. old
-said that they were thinking of calling the cops on us because the ONE time we did let them into our apartment with a plumber they said they smelled weed (just a note on that ... hugsygirl and joolia were the only ones home that day and THEY DONT SMOKE WEED!!!! i looked them dead in the eye and said 'if you wanna call the cops on us, go for it. we have nothing to hide'.)
-that we're young college students and we obviously just need to get the "party" out of us.
-that we arent allowed to keep our sealed garbage can in the kitchen anymore (we'll have to bring it to the backyard) and that any garbage we need to take out we'll have to bring to the backyard.
-unless we have has a full meal with atleast 2 people, we arent allowed to use the dishwasher and we have to do dishes by hand.
hmmm.
am i missing anything?
oh yea - which reminds me.... WHO LIVES IN THIS PLACE?!?!
i cant fucking believe this.
hugsygirl and i are going to look at a new place tomorrow.
and we're going to ask them if we can break our lease early.
this is just ridiculous.
i'm gunna investigate into if we have grounds to break the lease legally.
fuck. i just wanna live in a place for longer than a few months.
i'm SO sick of moving.
