no time like the present to update and say that i'm doing FABULOUS.

haha. that's me out on sunday night celebrating "family day" - our new sham holiday here in ontario.
jealous? i think so.
i also just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you wonderful SG peeps for being so amazing.
in the last week, i've really gotten to see how many awesome friends i have.
seriously without these people - i wouldn't be able to start over and start fresh again.
without your support... and constant fabulousity (ha!) ... life wouldn't be as totally amazing.
so thank you!
friday night, my friend morgan came over and we watched ::
painted our fingernails and drank rum.
it was nice relaxing evening. she brought me over a valentine. it was pretty cute.
saturday, i had a gym date with morgan in the morning. we did a group power class. worked out for almost 2hours.
then later in the afternoon, my mom came over.
my mom is a god sent.
she came over and we cleaned my house from top to bottom.
scrubbing the walls. ceiling fans. changing all my burned out lights because i can't reach them. putting in air fresheners. bringing in little faux plants. vaccuming. getting the dirt and dust off everything. washing the curtains to get the smoke stench off everything.
basically she brought the "mom" touch to my place and while it still looks a little empty, it looks WAY more like a home than it did before....
she's bringing me a dining set in a few weeks (they are just waiting for their new set to be delivered) ... so that takes care of that. it's pure oak. or something fancy like that.
then she took me to wal-mart and bought me some random stuff i needed like oven mitts (she bought me the really good kind too), toilet paper, some frames to put my art up, light bulbs, etc.
afterwards ... i was STARVING. i hadnt ate lunch and it was 8pm by this point. went to boston pizza in the dufferin mall and had dinner. it was good, except the service there SUCKS BALLS.

When: Saturday, June 7, 2008, 9:30 pm
Where: The Annex Wreck Room, 794 Bathurst Street (NW corner of Bathurst and Bloor)
The guest list is now officially open!
Here are a few things to remember...
1) As always, Gala will be free of charge!
2) This is a 19+ event. If you aren't 19 yet, you may ask to be on the guest list if you will turn 19 before June 7.
3) At this point, we are asking that you only bring one non-member guest with you. As per group rules, zotted members are not permitted to attend.
4) Information with respect to hotels and other pertinent information will be forthcoming, so stay tuned.
Radiofrank and I are really excited about this year's event, and we hope to see you there for another awesome evening of music, prizes, and the chance to see each other and have lots of fun. See you there!

1) Requests should be sent to galalist@gmail.com. Please, for the love of god do not send them via my page.
2) When you submit your request, I will need your member name, your full real name, and the full name of your guest. SGs are not required to give me their name if they do not wish to do so.
3) As mentioned in the announcement thread, we are asking at this point that you only bring one non-member guest, and that you and your guest are 19+. If you and/or your guest are not 19 right now, you may still send me an e-mail if you/your guest will be turning 19 before June 7.
4) Our venue will hold approx. 250 people, so there is lots of room for every
