hello all my friends out in sg land.
it's been a week and i'm ready to share MY life with you once again.
--> for those of you who don't know, i have epilepsy. i've been diagnoised with pettit mal and grande mal epilepsy since the age of 12. while i have been grande mal seizure free for over one year, i am still having pettit mal seizure. i guess i should give you guys a little background information into both:

anyways, i've had the same neurologist for YEARS. but i'm thinking of getting a new doctor. i think it's time. my present neurologist is unwiling to discuss new medications with me. i think it's time for a change. but do you know how freakin difficult it is to get a new doctor. f!
->so last wednesday, we had a power outage in the downtown core for 2.5 hours.

instead of sitting around, we went for roti and discussed furries. if you don't know what furries are, then don't ask. anyways, just when we got back from lunch - the power was STILL off. i was just about to leave and then, boom - power on. dammit.!
->hahaha. so just the other day, i was browsing around on craigslist and i found a job posting with my old company. the one with whom i'm taking to the labour board. hahahah. HILARIOUS. i guess after i left, they never found someone to take my place. they suck, largecore.
-> so i watched the first episode of kid nation. holy shit, that stuff was insane! 40 kids abandoned in a small town. they haev to do everything to make it sustainable. i was slightly drunk while watching it and didn't know what the f was going on. hahah. love it.
-> so i am now the pr and marketing coordinator for SoundProof Magazine. it's about freakin time! it's an online music magazine and it's really awesome. the signifigant other has been writing for them for over a year now. it's kinda nice to be a part of the family.
-> last friday at work, we went for lunch for one of our co-workers. it was awesome. we got free shots. and even better yet... we were at lunch for 2 hours. what a way to spend your friday "work" day. ha!
->friday night, i went to the new generation grill house with tekky. mmmm meat is SO GOOD. i'm hoping that we get to do a grill night with everyone from SGCanadaEast. seriously, i love the grill. but enough about meat. we stayed for almost 2 hours eating. then when i got home, we were suppose to go to the woodhands show and i passed out. i was in a total meat coma. serious!
->saturday night, i was suppose to get together with zarina and BDeyeD. we were gunna go to cherrybomb. alas, i had a couple drinks and passed out on my couch. apparently, i needed the sleep.
->i'm thinking of taking part in the upcoming provincial election. i'm thinking of volunteering as a poll clerk. i just spoke with them on the phone, and they need you to volunteer all day. which kinda sucks. it wouldn't make sense for me to not work an entire day, just to make $200. i'd make more money (not much more) in a day of work. so scratch that. but for all those wondering about maybe, taking part in your area - i only have the numbers for :

-> in other news, i'm taking part in a focus group meeting next monday. i was suppose to go see douglas coupland speak, but for this focus group i'm being paid $200 + cost of dinner. obviously, i'm going to take the $200. anyways, i'm going to have 2 representatives from this marketing company come to my house. i have to keep a "food" diary, letting them know where/what i eat for a week. then they will come to my house to see what kind of foods i buy and ask me to "order in, anything except pizza". it seems pretty simple and it's only 2 hours of work. i'm stoked!
-> so other strange news, peter (the boy) and i might be taking part in a sextv special. it's really rad. they want us to talk about our relationship. for those that don't know, we have a pretty open relationship. it's crazy that we're gunna be on tv together discussing it.
-> oh oh oh! it's my brithday coming up on october 7th. i'm having a lil birthday shindig on friday october 5th if anyone would like to attend. it's gunna be good times. drinking, drinking, and more drinking. possible trip to the annex wreck room or somewhere fun afterwards.
