hello out there in sg land.
how are things.
hopefully well.
things here are - busy.
and crazy.
so here is my update in point form:
~ got my offical offer from my new job. i'm gunna be making exactly what i wanted to - plus after 3 months - i get benefits. score!!
~ finally did my first yoga class with my good friend morgan. i really enjoyed it. i was so sweaty afterwards. plus since it's all about the "posing" and holding those positions, my fat ass definately felt it the next day. i just recently started taking classes at aradia fitness. they are a pole dancing fitness club. i've been LOVING the lessons there and i think i'm going to sign up for a membership there at the end of the month.
~finally resigned from my old job. and boy oh boy, that was joyful.
my former boss let me go earlier than my end day. then told me (and i quote), "i don't have to pay you for the two weeks." when i informed him that according to the labour board - he does owe me the pay for the 2 weeks - he flipped out. saying "you would be the type of person to cause trouble with the labour board." he then told me that he contacted his lawyers and his accountant and he didn't have to pay me anything. righhhht. anyways, he's paid out my one week of work and my vacation pay. but didn't pay me for the 2 outstanding weeks. apparently this is called termination pay (in leiu of notice). my friend who is an HR Manager told me. so yea, i filed a claim against him to the Employment Standards Act and they are now starting a formal investigation. granted i'm not owed a WHOLE lot of money, it's 2 weeks pay that i could really use considering i don't start my new job until august 16th.
~went on a random trip with my lil brother and my mom to marineland the other weekend. it was crazy busy. we didn't stay for very long. my brother is autistic. got to see some dolphins and whales. totally cool. then we drove around niagara falls and visited my aunt/uncle. most excellent.
~found out my mom is pregnant??
~finished watching season 2 of weeds. i fucking love that show. it's so good. i'm dying for season 3. i looked on a couple of websites and 3 eppys are released (pre released cos season 3 start on august 14th) ... but my computer sucks and takes forever to download them. dammit.
~volunteering at cravefest next week - if anyone is going. it's the music video award show? anyways, i'm working the rock and the hip hop night. there are live acts performing and everything. should be interesting.
~worked for my friend yesterday making $18/hour doing some filing. she works at a huge fiancial/bank firm in the fiancial district. anyways, i worked there for almost 9 hours yesterday just filing and shizz. then they paid for my lunch and snacks for the day. how awesome is that?? i'll be recieving my cheque on monday. but it's possible i'm going to do some more filing for her today. yaay to extra monies.
~went grilling last night with my best friend kellan. we were gunna go with tekky - but neither one of us could get a hold of her. dammit. anyways, the grill sesh was good. mmmm MEAT.
~i start my new job this upcoming week. i'm a little bit nervous. a little bit excited. a little bit of everything.

That's a crazy update, btw. I can relate, girlie. Life can be fucktarded and wonderful all in one fell swoop.
I mean, okay, she's almost 67, so I guess that would be a reasonable reaction.
