Hope
Black wispy kisses of gentle dry drowning
You to sleep
Ashy blanket rescuer
Cool the ember of your soul to join the smoke
Rise steamy above the heat and rain quiet tears
Hungry swords of flame scratch head and heels
Set to feed
Licking tongue of bone-roasting cruelty
Remorseless
I hope the smoke kills you before you burn.
