Hi Chums:

I want to catch up with all of you!

Pardon my silence. I have carpal tunnel ... or so I am told. Anyway, typing hurts and I am supposed not to.

But fuck it. A little pain never hurt anyone I always say.

I put some new pics in my bucket, and added a new profile pic, complete with glasses.

I am going to visit my people in Arizona next week for the first time in three years. I am looking forward to it, because I can relax there. My girlfriend shall come with me and finally meet my parents.

I spent a nice day in Hyde Park a week or so ago; one of my best days in a long time. Hyde Park is a neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The University of Chicago is there and it has a lot of wonderful independent bookstores and used bookstores and art galleries and interesing people and architecture. I saw some dazzling dark arts at the Smart Museum and mystical Eastern treasures at the Oriental Institute. Then I got a really good lunch at Medici ... which is a restaurant that also showcases local art. There was pizza, and I carved my name in the table.


I just got to see Nine Inch Nails, Bauhaus, Peaches and the Tragically Hip. I am pleased.

My bones are crunchy. I want to be clever, but I am too tired.
