So Monday was my youngest daughter's 7th birthday.
I think she had a blast. Hope she did. Seemed to.
She woke up that morning, ran out of her room, arms raised in victory and bellowed "I'm 7!"

Then it was chocolate chip pancakes and off to school.

After school she decided we would go to the local Build-a-Bear workshop ... where the kids make their own stuffed animals and decorate them and stuff.

Julie made a purple, sparkley pony in a princess costume that sings Happy Birthday. Her big sister Katelyn made a green bear in a traditional Celtic gown. Then we had food and rode on the Merry-Go-Round before heading home for presents and cake.

The night was beautiful and precious.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that is so precious! smile

rock on. i bought this t-shirt at hot topic that says "I did NOT escape they gave me a DAY PASS" and that's basically my way at laughing and having a sense of humor about it. my mom hates that shirt. she has no sense of humor though. my dad loves it because he thinks it's a great sign that i can laugh about such things.

wings of desire is just so awesome and so much more uplifting than the stupid americanized heart jerker that is city of angels. but maybe i'm just bitter because americans tend to far too often remake foreign films when they have completely missed the point of them.

i will be quoting wayne's world til the day i die. and no one will remember it by then so they'll just think i'm senile or something.

it's like we're looking down on wayne's basement, only that's not wayne's basement. isn't that weird? surreal tongue biggrin
