I have changed my name. I am mdht no longer.

Now I shall be known as "A Strange Treat."

I will tell you why:

1. When I joined SG I had no idea that it was going to cause me to interact with other people. Hence, I didn't muck about with picking and interesting name. I simply used the letters of my (now former) email address.
2. That email address ... was meaningless. I couldn't find an email address I liked that wasn't taken, so I slammed the keyboard with my abnormally large fist and just took whatever characters appeared as my E-Identity. Thus MDHT was born.
3. I want a name that means something.
4. I have about a dozen nicknames. I think "A Strange Treat" is the funniest.
5. I had a pint of kumquats, which is a tiny citrus fruit that you eat with the peels on, I offered some to my friends. One said, "This is a strange treat. Much like the Captain is a strange treat." Hence, I got yet another name.
6. In the above story, I am the Captain. That is another of my nicknames, and is my current myspace profile name: www.myspace.com/captainsfist.
7. I am the Captain of the mighty pirate ship, the Chicken of the Sea. I have a sword. That is why I am called Captain.
8. This has nothing to do with anything, but there are bronze reliefs of primate paws at the local zoo, so people can compare size. My hand dwarfs that of the average human female, and is only slightly larger than the average paw of a male silverback gorilla.
9. Today is National Pie Day. I like pie.
