Oh, you don't get much of an explanation if you get turned down- their explanations remain fairly neutral which is probably just good PR. As far as I know you can apply again (I applied a couple of times, but they didn't like the set I did). I'm sure they are just swamped with apps so believe me, it doesn't mean anything that they turned you down.

as far as i know that 3 month thing only applies to photoset acceptance not the initial application, so i sent again like a week ago, which is about 2 + months or so since the original. i made it to the applicants area and then received a rejection email, so i sent an email asking why, and thats when i got that email.
it just seems that i do not have what she is looking for, and thats that. oh well, i still love SG. i still don't want to give up, but i feel as tho i'm being told i should. my profile, ID, and release are already all set cause i have an applicant account that i check before i read the rejection email and thought i was supposed to do them anyway, but then i was told she can't use me on the site altogether. maybe i'm confused about the process, cause i thought i was accepted, so i asked if i could send in a photset and now anyway... i dunno, just bummed.
