Today I painted on canvas for the first time 
I wasn't able to quite get the effect I had in mind, but I'm pretty pleased with the results
The canvases were quite expensive (but beat preparing them myself), but I made up for that paint wise. Did I buy myself a load of paints and brushes (knowing full well that my skill at painting is roughly the same as a pre-schooler's finger painting) No. I bought the colors I wanted in those little tester pots 
Built in brushes and everything I'll try and get some pics for people to laugh at
