The manic pre sundance faze has started. call after call of do you know who is throwing this party i have passes for that party lets have coffee at this event and with no home base for work really set up yet (arghh!) its kinda turning into a bit of a bitch to track. i need to database damnit! I'm a FileMaker Pro. 
I know some of you think this kinda stuff is gross and lame and pointless. I sometimes feel the same way. But it unfortunatly is just the way it is. My job is to essencialy to know a lot of people. It's the truth. if i had to break it down... i'd say im a relationship brocher. an salesman of connections. 'the go-to guy.' and sundance is like the swapmeet of the film industry. i come home each year from Sundance with such amazing prospects...no fail. so shiiiiiiiit. Count me in. Sign me up. Sell me out. Tie me up. Bring it.
I'm going to be bouncing from party to party. living off free dinners and coffee. i love sundance... love it love it love... and it has nothing to do with the movies. thats someone elses job.

ing by now. shit, like i said... you dont see anyof it through my eyes... i think sundance a fucking joke as a discovery festival. it 90% decided by the distribution companies and the agencies... its a big popularity contest and has been abused to groud like the oscars. its true there are some amazing films that are given attetion for their work... but those ill spend my 8 bucks to support in a theater damnit. im at sundance to work.

seeing: i splurged so id turn off the tv- Tokion, AdBusters, Soma.

Have fun. Do what you have to do, and TRY and make a difference. If you can great, if you don't want to...fuck you. I don't really care; I don't pay to see the shit that Hollywood makes. I do however care what Sundance does for film and filmmakers, and therefore I hope you do well out there and help some poor son-of-a-bitch like myself, who cares about art, become a force in the industry.
