I went out for a smog check. It took effort. I ended up at Rock N' Roll Ralphs.
Rock N' Roll Ralphs. This is a place that I love. There is no musak more inviting, no parking hastle more worth putting up with than that of the Los Angeles cultural phenomenon that is the Rock N' Roll Ralphs. The rows of horrible produce and extra big lix section are graced by the whole range of Hollywood inhabitants.
The gutter punks at the door know me by now... i won't give em cash- but I always give em something [today it was oranges]... gotta give em credit for trying ya know!? The Russian babushkas waddle along as the sunglass wearing tattoed types rush to grab their coffee, cat food and tin foil. The plastic girl in the playboy shirt talking LOUD on her selphone with a basket full of diet insta-foods was weariing make-up that looked like it had been airbrushed on... for real.
I need a digital camera, this would have made for a great fieldtrip....
Morningstar was on sale. I stocked up.
I stayed in last night. That took even more effort that getting off the couch today. Buuuut, my calendar is filling up nicely for the week. I am going to start with one coffee/lunch per day. Nothing too rough. I'm gonna start this unemployement off right! I figure, when the time for a job comes, I will kick myself if I didnt take advantage of the time that I have to relax and be lazy... i want to enjoy this new found independence...while i've got it.
