Wow. Thanks for all the support everyone...i REALLY appreciate it and take all of it to heart. These liminal stages leave me feeling like I am swimming and I am a bit of a control freak so I tend to get overwhelmed. Your kind words help me feel that much more grounded...
Ziggy Stardust was so rockin'. Outdoors under a full moon, a few bottles of wine and excellent company make for a good place to watch the rockstar of all rockstars do his thing....
So i took another big step today with my career. I approached a producer whom I respect and... well... idolize is more appropriate...anyways... i asked for help. She was so sweet and so honest and i think perhaps even flattered. So we are going to talk after the festival is over about an informal 'mentorship.' HUGE. VERY HUGE. I cant wait.
Tonight I had a great DnB DJ spinning for a bunch of stiffs...it was funny watching them trying to find the beat. God Bless DJ Jun....too funny! He dropped an ill intelligent set. Then to top it off, I wanted everyone to go so I popped in a modest mouse cd...it cleared the house in ten minutes...god bless that squeeky mofo!!!
