This caterpillar is getting ready for cocoon mode... This weekend I will sleep. I will sleep lots. And perhaps swim. Then sleep more.
As much as I loved feeling loved yesterday, I'd feel remiss if I didn't tell you all that those words were not from me... they were for me... they made me feel so special and loved at just the right moment (they seem always to come right at right moment) that just wanted to share them with all of you... but please still feel free to cook me all the same...
I hired a new cleaning person today. I like to keep a tidy place. I think I do a good job too. But with a long haired- amazing- beautiful- sweeter than pie- princess kitty, well, you gotta do lots of brooming and moping. I end up brooming like two or three times a week. No longer. So very happy about this. She will come in once a week and work for FIVE hours. She is even going to do our laundry!!!! My mother never even did my laundry! *tears up*
So, I stopped of at a thrift shop this morning on my way into the office. I was looking for the perfect night stand to match my furniture set. I didnt find one. I have very particular Danish Modern taste... Anywho... I DID find this amazing Blenko crackled amberina Decantor (Amberina is that amazing deep orange/yellow glass). They sold it to me for 10$. Such a score. Worth putting it in the journal in fact.
Tonight I am going to bring home Punch-Drunk Love. I missed it at Cannes this year. One of two films I wanted to see (#2 was The Pianist (Polansky) - saw neither). I've heard great things and I cant wait to see it... then perhaps I think I will go out and shake my ass a bit. I could use it. I need the realease...I may even take Friday off and make it a three day weekend.
