So Rosh Hashana is The New Year for us Jewish folk. Beginning today and lasting for ten days, ending on Yom Kippur, Jews are supposed to look at the last year and judge their actions. We are supposed to right our wrongs and appologize to anyone and everyone we may have hurt, knowingly or unknowingly. Its kind of a cool tradition. Not this huge build-up to the day we die when we get judged on our sins and good deads, but a constant checks and balances system for each of us, each year.

And well.... I've been bad. I've been so wrapped up in my sorrow and self pity that I have stopped all my volunteer work, i've spent so little time with my family and thought impure thoughts (yummy sg!). As you can tell I can only take this shit so seriously before it just bugs me out. I do like some of the traditions, but like I said, when everyone else is asking for forgivness tom. morning, I will be thinking about all those things that I am supposed to be putting out of my mind.

I cant wait to see you all again tonight. Looking forward to it!!! I will most prob. go straight to temple in the morning. How sacreligious is that!?
