I saw a wonderful band this evening. Metric. Their recordings do them no justice at all though. Thats a bit of a shame. Their albumn is simple, but their live show is HOT. I would highly recommend them for any elecrocrash likers out there. Any Brooklyncrash kiddies out there? My guess is not- but you should be... Look into it.

i too unknowingly showed up at the spectacle/debacle that is known on the fox network as american idolotry. my friend and i were having pints of bass at the grill at h&h clueless as to why there were hoardes of poseurs waiting in line. it wasn't until a bartender clued us in did we realize that all the ruckus was being generated by the tv show. on our way out we were caught by a camera that was recording some barbie'd up talking head prenteding she was covering actual news doing some on-the-spot-at-the-moment reporting.
