Gary Jules is my friend, and apparently rules in England.....ROCK!!!!!!

LONDON (Reuters) - American duo Michael Andrews and Gary Jules (news) became on Sunday surprise winners in the race to top the British Christmas pop charts with a haunting ballad from the cult film "Donnie Darko."
The little-known Californian musicians took the coveted Christmas top spot with "Mad World," a reworked version of the 1980s...

Do you know Gary Jules for real!?

mike:
I just met Gary in London a few weeks ago. We were staying at the same hotel. One of the guys I work with grew up with him and ran into him in the lobby one day. Really nice guy. "Mad World" was being played non stop on every radio station when we were there. I'm stoked that he won. Have you heard his full length album? Its good.

I just got back from Woodland Park, Colorado.....9000 feet above sea level. Off the plane, a couple of cocktails later, and I am at sea level again and I feel like I've been gone forever in six days. Had to see the mom before she flew to Egypt to see the pyramids and whatnot. I hadn't seen her in three years. It's funny....we are alot...

I love drinking on planes. I live for it in fact. The best are foreign flights. Germans love to drink. I learned not to ask for a light beer on Lufthansa though. They only serve the strong stuff apparently.

It's nice to think that we could find the rabbit as quickly
as the KGB, but really the story should go like this:

NRO satellite photos show unidentified creature with long ears.
Appears to be eating elongated orange object.
NSA reports unusually high frequency of the character string "rabbit"
in intercepted communications.
High level governmental committee appointed to study the problem
and make recommendations.
State...

ORANGE CITY, Fla. - A mob of shoppers rushing for a sale on DVD players trampled the first woman in line and knocked her unconscious as they scrambled for the shelves at a Wal-Mart Supercenter.
Patricia VanLester had her eye on a $29 DVD player, but when the siren blared at 6 a.m. Friday announcing the start to the post-Thanksgiving sale, the...

Birds do it, bees do it, and oysters do it too, but in a different way. Oysters are marine bivalves that live on the bottom of the ocean by cementing themselves permanently to a hard surface. They do not actually mate as most terrestrial animals do. Instead, oysters broadcast their gametes in the water, and fertilization takes place outside of their bodies. Oysters also have...

eeek Fascinating! Some fish and shrimp do that, too, but not in the exact way that oysters do. Change their sex, I mean.

some doctor who shall not be named has said that sleeping 8 hours a night is ideal and for each hour of sleep skipped one will loose 8% of their happiness in the forthcoming day. 5 hours = a 76% day.

but if that were the case...if I didn't sleep at all I should be at 36% happiness. I'm pretty sure its closer to the...
