I just got back from Woodland Park, Colorado.....9000 feet above sea level. Off the plane, a couple of cocktails later, and I am at sea level again and I feel like I've been gone forever in six days. Had to see the mom before she flew to Egypt to see the pyramids and whatnot. I hadn't seen her in three years. It's funny....we are alot alike. Thank god I spent some time with her so I could be reminded of behaviors to avoid. Still...it was good. Lot's of conversation on ghosts, power, the buddha, women, men, relationships, the past, blood, violence, my childhood. Now I am back in my home and listening to the new travis album and trying to unwind just a little bit......just a little.

I love drinking on planes. I live for it in fact. The best are foreign flights. Germans love to drink. I learned not to ask for a light beer on Lufthansa though. They only serve the strong stuff apparently.
