something about the winter in los angeles does something to people. It's like spring fever but darker and a little more perverse. While the rest of the world dozes off into the slow freeze, we have Dallas Raines telling us it will be 89 on monday and the Santa Ana's will be blowing their tune at 30mph. I don't know about you, but that sounds sexy in November, especially when it gets dark so early.
Its confusing to the senses and mocks the normal cycle of nature. Next week, the trees will try and bloom again because even their clocks are fucked up by it. I think it puts people in Los Angeles in "heat" as well. Either that, or the impending holidays make people here want to behave even more wicked than normal.
