A doctor and his son go on a fishing trip. On the way back, they get into a fatal car accident. The father dies and the son is taken to ER. When the boy is wheeled in for surgery, the doctor on duty takes one look at him and says, " I can't work on this boy.......he is my son."
jeff buckley makes me nutty. grace sent me to another place that i did'nt want to leave, and so, for the most part, i did'nt. i listened to it for hours on end. the pain is just so sweet. i also think it was quite fitting for him to die by drowning. he songs were all about saturation.
have you checked out m. doughty's solo stuff (from soul coughing)? it kicks much ass. a good friend of mine was nice enough to record the album skittish for me and i became obsessed. it was the only thing i listened to for a while. now i read alot and don't get into music too much these days.
I have been drained by a little visitor. Children love me. They also scare the shit out of me...I should know. I was extremely frightening as a child. In a quiet way.
i remember constantly being underestimated by adults when i was small. i remember really liking relatives that joked around with me and were comfortable with themselves. kids are sponges - they respond openly to their environment and it is fucking scary and they STARE.....yikes!
looks like we belong to the same club. my solution? accept what is, while at the same time knowing it can be changed for the better. putting down the coffee - even when life is'nt all that satisfying my brain is temporarily tricked and i got that nasty crash to deal with. yeah, but god (lower cased), that coffee is good, you like that coffee. i do. shit.
When you wake up to another day....doesn't it seem strange sometimes? I mean, it's really not another day, but a continuous line of time broken up by sleep. All you're really doing is taking a break for a few hours. A long cat nap, if you will. mumblemumble Coffee...I need coffee.
i've thought about it but sleep, depending on if you get it or don't, or dream, can change you by the next day. i have changed several times. i change. i change. i change, although some things about me don't - for bad or for good.
your comment was a satisfying treat, although sad. i could say a lot more about it, but since i'm on your page - this is about answering your question.i don't remember having a voice in my dreams, but yet, i must. they are highly interactive. i can lucid dream when i'm real lucky -which allows me lots of flying and /or sex with various strangers (perhaps i should seek important pearls of wisdom while i'm there, instead?). i like changing the scenes around while i am in them. when i wake from these dreams, i always wonder about the nature of reality. obviously, i am interacting in a particular somewhere when i dream and although fluid ,i can use my senses to feel it out but, more effectively, i use my imagination to whisk myself off to odd scenerios - the imagination holds more power in the dream world than our earth reality - things usually take alot more time to happen here. take care of yourself, i hope your dreaming well.
