5 am. and I am up. Unwinding has proven difficult this morning. Too bad I have to sleep at some point, or I'd just as soon stay up all day. I'm listening to Telepopmusic telling me to "just breathe". Another day staring at my cieling.
Tonight a couple had sex in the bathroom cubicle next to me, all hot breathe and hushed voices hungry, bouncing off the bathroom tile. I watched their shadows on the ceiling tear at each other, impatient and reckless. Normally I could care less, but their tryst made me feel like the world could end tomorrow. if my partner was in love with someone else, i would have to understand... that person was not meant to be my life long love, true blue, one and only. it would hurt like the dickens...
but i would rather be with someone who loves me unconditionally. for now, i have friends, and i have friends who are also my lovers. it may never be, me... married. i have known love, i have never known one love of my life. i don't think i'm stable enough yet.
i hope that this did not happen to you.
i cannot fathom the heartache.
i wait, i don't think about marriage. because at this point i would be the one having the affair.
