(another not-so-buddhist aspect of my personality is that i love material things and i am a big proponent of shopping therapy and splurging - and part of that philosphy - a cornerstone, if you will - is that you must NEVER regret your purchases. remember the reasons you purchased in the fist place and make a project out of enjoying it - whether it's finding a reason to go out so you can show off your new outfit or hair or boots
you can read a book at the beach when it's overcast - fewer people to distract/disturb you.

thanks for noticing my shoulder piece. i've been meaning to take some pictures of it and scan the picture of the painting it's based on and put them side by side - i think that would be cool.
we're not going to george acosta tonight - tix are $38!! - so maybe that's what i'll do tonight
