yesterday, my sister and i watched this year's gay pride parade as it made it's way down the street. it would be a vast understatement to refer to this so-called parade "lackluster". i realize i live in cincinnati, but we were both pretty disappointed in how little pride this parade had. the highlight of this whole affair was when some random girl got a little too upset that the street was blocked off and she couldn't turn. she was forcibly removed from her car, cuffed, and tossed into the back of a cop car not even two minutes before the parade ended. the lesson: patience is, in fact, a virtue. who knew?

in other news: this moving nonsense is way harder than i thought, so i figured i would start with the easy stuff: what/who all do i need to get done/go see before i leave? suggestions?

also: people are pushing me to have a going-away party, so i thought i should get the wheels turning on that too. now all i need is ideas, a location, and people to show up.
