Ring schming (my wife & I still proudly sport the $70 Claddagh wedding bands we bought while subsisting on ramen noodles - I love that shes never become materialistic after all these years). As to the proposition and her saying yes: From what youve said about her [e.g. her willingness to travel and stay with you through all of this] plus what youve told us about you; I suspect that will not be in much doubt.
