So this weekend was great!
Friday/Saturday not too much happened Gamed alot, played ET, TB and Warrock. I r teh pwner. Than as if the weekend couldnt get any better. My friend Tyler asked me a couple weeks ago to go with him to the private opening on Sunday for a new gaming cafe. (It doesnt open to the public until Wednesday) So of course I said yes. (Who said working at EB Games doesnt have its benefits) We also have this idea of doing a possible LAN party there at the end of the month. And what better time to check it out than now. So incase you didnt know, it is possible to reach orgasm over hundreds of different video games, offered on the biggest tvs, I've ever seen in my life that just happen to be surrounding me. Ooooobaby! Ooooobaby! There was everything my little black heart ever wanted to play. Nintendo,Genesis, Xbox ,Xbox 360, PS, PS2, PC's etc etc etc..Humina humina. The owners of the cafe gave a tour of the place, showed us the different gaming stations, introduced us to some of the staff than thanked us for coming and released us to go play. You know the expression on the kids faces in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when he first opens the door to the Candy field with the chocolate river running through it and it kinda takes your breath away. Thats exactly how it felt. I collected myself and jumped on a pc to see what games were loaded in and found my game. Counter Strike. I played that for like an hour and a half than went to find Tyler who after 5 minutes of looking was playing HalfLife2 with a few guys around him so I didnt mess with him I mosey over to another part of the cafe and theres this guy sitting by himself playing Madden 2007 Not being a fan of sports games I wanted to watch him play and see what all the fuss is about so I walk up and stand behind him watching. I didnt say anything but I think I made him nervous, but eh. Anyways after about 2 minutes of watching the game it didnt change my mind about wanting to play it or any football game for that matter, I turned to walk off and go find a "real" game to play and he asked me if I wanted to play with him. He wasnt like drop dead gorgeous or anything that wasnt my reason for saying yes. I dont know why I agreed to play with him considering I hate those kind of games. I guess I was feeling a bit masochistic. I did tell him before we started playing that I never play sport games so when he kicks my ass I already had my defense laid out. So anyways we played it. He kicked my ass.. And for anyone who has played this game Why in the hell, does it show the other person, your play and vice versa? How stupid is that???How can you possibly plan any sory of strategy against the person when they know whats going to happen... ZZZZZZZZ I got my ass handed to me, but he was funny as hell. The comments we made and the trash talk him and I did to each other was fucking hilarious. We made so much noise laughing at each other and calling each other names that people came over tosee what was going on. Good times. After another loss
We stopped playing that and ended up playing a few more games together. A couple of which I kicked his ass and a couple of which he kicked mine.After that him and I went to the bar and talked for about
2 hours joking, serious and game/trash talk and decided to meet up again at my house Thursday
night for some dinner and Halo2. Im so fucking excited. Gonna get meh game on!
