I'm second guessing the artist I chose for my half sleeve. He's 4 hours away so I've been trying to email him some references so he can get an idea of what I want (per his request). Problem is, I never hear back from him. I know he is busy but I think this is very unprofessional. I don't doubt his talent but if he isn't coordinating with me, my 1st appt is gonna come up and he won't have my piece designed. My 1st appt is scheduled for December 30 which gives him plenty of notice if I cancel now. I'm pretty sure I won't get my $100 deposit back though.

Have you trie to contact him again? Call the shop directly maybe you can get an answer.
