Well thanksgiving is done and gone. i went to a get together with one of the guys I share the house with. Most of the people were latino, but met me well. I enjoyed most of the night, until I overheard grandma make a remark regarding the "blanco tonto". I hate it that people cant see past race and accept everyone for who they are. I played like I didnt hear so as not to cause a scene, but i so wanted to make a remark. Her comment played in the back of my mind for the rest of the evening, but otherwise I had fun. It was probably on of the better thanksgivings that I have been a part of.

Friday was pretty much a waste. I cleaned a little, and spent some time here. Otherwise it was a waste.

I want to take my car out for a late night cruise through the hills right now. I want to feel the road and watch the stars rise and fall behind each consecutive hill.

I long for someone to hold and to hold me. I want to feel there warmth against my skin and smell their hair with every breath.

In case anyone was wondering what brought about my sudden change in candor from my previous entries, I just read Benni's journal and it put me in this mood for some reason.

Im going to go lay down and think now. Good night or morning, whichever may apply.
