So the obligatory 2008 flashback blog!
This has been by far and away the most memorable year of my life. I have been higher than I've ever been and lower than I've ever been. In some ways it feels like the whole world's been ripped out from under my feet and it's thrown me into a whole new state of discovery and rediscovery, of the world around me and the world within me. I have flown to higher heights and sunk to deeper depths than I've known was possible.
But I'm still the same person.
It's been a bittersweet year of contradictions.
laughing and crying, working and playing, loving and hating and all the rest.
Sometimes everything at once.
As far as the lowlights, some of you already know a bit about what's been going on, and if not then you'll be pleased to know I'm choosing to gloss over them for the sake of this blog! As far as the highlights go, I think pictures speak louder than words, so here's a visual round-up of just some of the best bits...

It's just so hard to sum up a year in one blog. I guess everyone else who's attempting one of these can understand that.
In summary...
It's been emotional. Actually, screw that, it's been a HEADFUCK, and it's left me a bit of a mess. So looking to 2009, frankly I don't know what to expect. For the first time, I am refusing to make resolutions or predictions. I'm just going to roll with it, and see what happens...
