Good evening.
I hadn't actually planned to write a new blog yet, but I was compelled to, based on I'M FRUSTRATED OUT OF MY HEAD! I've had one of the most boring weeks of my life because most of my friends are up at uni now, and I'm jealous of them. I never thought uni was for me; I went to film school in Brighton and then decided to pave my way into films starting from the bottom. Except I wasted last year completely! And university seems to be a place where you can make things happen for yourself, which is what I'm after.
I suppose things ARE happening for me. I'm moving down to Hastings soon enough ~touch wood~ to work for a production company who produced a feature film I worked on (and am still working on now it's finished even, promoting it and shizzle). Although it'll most likely be unpaid to start with, but they want to put me on their books as a director! Which is awesome, and I am grateful, completely. I guess I'm just suffering from a bout of the "What-if"s...
Also, I completed a film of my own recently called "An Unexpected Turn" - it's just a silly little comedy thing I made on impulse one day with my sister (although took two years to complete!!) which I decided I thought was actually quite good. So anyway if you use MySpace, it's at [URL]www.myspace.com/anunexpectedturn. I've only entered it into one festival so far which it didn't get into (but the competition was 369 other films from all over the world, from which 10 were chosen, so you know). But I'm not put off so I'll be sending it all over the place. If you know of any festivals near you, lemme know.
(Here's a pic of my dedicated self promoting said film. Oh, what lengths we go to for our passions...
)

In other news, my ever growing hair in recent weeks developed a suspiciously out of place dreadlock... This evening I PROPERLY combed my hair, and said dreadlock has been completely brushed away/ripped out of my scalp, thanks to the tireless efforts of my Mum's pink comb, which took a thorough beating for the sake of my appearance. Cheers.
And this just in: after my 6th cup of tea in the last few hours, my need to urinate is growing by the word!
Thank you for reading this and I hope you're all well.
Tata!
=)

(Oh, and belated honourary Kudos to architectonic for her juuust too late entry into the random comment competition!)
