I try not to call attention to myself, it isn't necessarily my style. So when people from grounds know me on a first name bases - Keeping in mind that I don't know them - I think it's a little odd, and makes me wonder how many know me by name as opposed to just seeing me around and knowing my face. Random thought.

I was told today that I'm too pretty to do my job. Not really sure what to make of that.

I have another admirer from horticulture, which is a totally other story, but to my advantage, I was able to get a slew of plants to use in the desert exhibit. I spent two hours planting eight new cactus plants and re-arranging rocks and sand.

It hurts when poked by cactus needles, in case you were interested.

I could use a massage.
