As much as I'm looking forward to October being near, I wish the month would slow down - at least enough for me to find another position. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I won't hold my breath.

In the mean time, it's been a pretty interesting week - work and play wise. There's all sorts of construction going on at the zoo, one of which is a new baboon exhibit. We were supposed to move them in on Tuesday, but that has now been pushed back to Friday, if we manage to finish the fencing, hot wire and the perching inside of the night house itself. We're also fighting fleas... they came in with the grass that was laid. Yup. Fun.

Despite all of the hard work that has been put forth, fun is also mixed in there a bit. Tuesday brought about fun with beer and bottles that can be used for fun after the beer is gone Pictures were of course taken, but they are for one other set of eyes only.

Thursday brought about dinner and drinks, after of course being tied up a bit... and blind folded by eyerush

Today brought about hosing and feeding, sweeping and cleaning. Baboon shit isn't one of my favorites to clean, but I have a job for now so I'm not going to complain. I'm very happy that it's the weekend, I look forward to all that it has in store.
