Too bad I don't get HBO, I've heard such great things about that show. That clip just whetted my appetite.

Getting back to a previous topic. I have a descent record collection from way back, but my turntable died 20 years ago so I haven't done anything since. I was discussing with June the merits of spending the money on hardware to listen to my old stuff vs. trying to find the music in mp3 form. I'm hardly ever home to listen to vinyl, vut there are many benefits beyond the music itself to collecfing vinyl. She had a solution that was the best of both worlds. A kickass turntable with line out ( not like the cheesy ones in the department stores).

I loaded them with my camera i did upload them to youtube, some of them it said they muted the sound because of a claim...whatever that means.one of them was "banned in multiple countries" and the others wouldn't play all the way thru once i uploaded them...I still have em all on my camera so at least i get to laugh at myself.

Hello SGland... I should be stoked but I'm not. I needed a good laugh & I found it in an article called "How to Attract Goth Chicks"... It's pretty funny. This blog is just a sort of recap of my last coupe weeks or so.

I have been putting off shooting sets, or anything for that matter, until my new camera body comes in......

So.. Yeah, I'll probably start working back at the tattoo shop starting this summer. It will be nice. I miss it, actually. I may actually start tattooing there in people's booths that are off until the one I'm getting opens up.

I'm not shooting sets now because Canon hates me and still hasn't got my mk3 in the mail. I am open to do some...

Kind of had to. Moved out of my dad's house, no place to keep them, finding an apartment where I could play them wasn't going to happen, needed money.... you know the story.

I remember being a young lad in a neighborhood where they were all older kids. They taught me a lot & let me hang with them. This is the 80s... yeah, I'm old. I was lucky enough to grow up around a bunch of trouble making skaters. It the 80s, skating wasn't about wearing women's clothing & floating pretty down handrails. It was about being...

You and I had a similar experience, back in the day, although Im a few years older better seasoned. This was my memoir on the scene, and I was mostly thinking of the bigger picture, broader scene - - but this brought back to mind the skate scene: The late nights raiding construction sites for plywood and 2x4's; the ramps; ducking cops and security guards to skate in drainage ditches; the bruises, abrasions, the emergency rooms and dental reconstruction . . .

Good times.
Thanks for the memories.

The Descendents are one of my all time favorites!
I loved them then, I still do today.
(I'm almost embarrassed to admit that the first I saw them live, with Milo, was just last fall, but I'd seen All a couple of times).

OK... Moving forward. I used to work at Westside tattoo, which is one of the oldest shops around. All the artist have said numerous times that they want me back up. I haven't been tattooing in a while. I got ink today and the owner built me a couple new machines. While working all the artist came in to tell me that they wish I...
