TOOTHACHE!!!!! AAAGGHHH!!! How in the hell does it work that it hurt a little, I put Orajel on it & now it feels like I stuck a steak knife in my gums?!? It hurts in my brain. I've tried ignoring for a few weeks but it is getting worse. I'll never get to sleep with this type of pain.

-edit- Pot makes it worse?!? Damn it!

-edit edit- It's a cracked tooth, alright. If it swells up this week & I have to go to the ER for meds, Ill be pissed. Come on immune system. Fight that shit! lol

Yeah I know, I just need to save up the money to get them taken care of. Plus I've been worried about getting the whole "dry pockets" thing so I've held off.

Teva Don't worry about Dry socket. It's very easy to avoid. I did it and I smoked herb the whole week I wasn't supposed to be. You just need to protect that area, and avoid sucking as much as possible. The sucking motion is what causes dry socket. So I just packed bowls lightly and made sure I wasn't sucking hard. You will get a blood clot where your tooth is pulled, and you need to make sure it stays there, it's the main thing preventing dry socket!!

_MIKED_ If the pain is mostly constant, it's most likely infected. If it's only while eating/chewing, it's most likely only exposed. You are lucky that you have a great friend that can check you out for nothing. I have 2 teeth that need to be pulled, and replaced. It's going to cost me a fortune and a half! The first time I had an infected tooth, I couldn't bear the pain, and took myself to the ER. Got some vicodin that didn't help much until I picked up the antibiotic. I'll never go to the ER for that again! almost 500 bucks later....Good luck man. Tooth pain is the worst thing i've ever felt, including breaking my arm in 2 places in 3rd grade jumping off the swings, and breaking my thumb joint sliding into home plate playing softball...
