i don't know how this question is going to translate, but here goes...the seventies produced a particular brand of soft. folky music, like ann murray, helen redy, john denver,, that music, strikes a particularly sad bone in me, like hearing, america's
"horse with no name" guys and gals closer to my age might get what i mean. anyway, im curious if the gen z'ers around here have an eighties equivalent, if there is a moroseness to any of the eighties stuff that hits that wierd chilhood bone with them..

i had a bad ass gig lined up to direct a music video, but the band is breaking up since one of the members is moving to SF, so they figured that it would be a dumb idea to spend a lot of money and time promoting a band that is about to break up. we had a full cast of zombies, make-up, special effects, sets, pyrotechnics, airplay in europe, the whole jobby.
my heart broke into teeny pieces.
john denver and anne murray. AM sadness, yes.
