the show was interesting..sort of a ubber indie "my striped athletic swaeter is cooler than yours" scene...you know, ill say it, i know how important Slint was...I'm down with Built to Spill, but the lack of sexuality, danger and subversivenss that in away defines most indie or emo rock makes me crave it. sitting back stage at the troubadour last night all i could think about is how much fun Niki Sixx had back there in 84. Yes i know content...substance, emotional depth are all important, and if anyone has over "art" thought things its been me, but fuck, it must have been great to have been in the crue in the early eighties when all you really had to worry about was not gettting burned by the pyrotechnics and keeping your zovarax perscription filled.

Started a job today that did'nt award, so, no job. its slow this month, scary, im jealous of the staffers with there benifits and there low, though regular paychecks. guess it always has to be a gamble to keep it interesting for me.
