Notes from Paris.

I love it here. I cannot get over how wonderful of a place it is. I just stand in awe of so many things.

I am having loads of fun. This is my last day here, as tomorrow we board a plane for Tunisia. I would have to assume that I won't be around that much those three days that I am there.

-People take forever whilst having their meals. It is incredible to not have waitstaff hovering over you while you eat, trying to get you your food ASAP to free up that table for another possible group, to get more tips in their evening. The way the service industry is paid makes things a bit different.

-along those lines, being able to sit for 2 hours at a table and eat slowly while having a whole bottle of wine is incredible. I am a slow eater in general, but it is made hard in the US to be like that. Everyone rushes their food experiences. I love to savor each bite, taking it in. A good meal is so much like good sex.

-Food vendors make the better crepes. I have had too much cheese, and I honestly do not care. Food is life.



Today is my alone day. My suitcase broke in transit, and today I must procure a new one as there is still more trip to be had. So I am going to shower(Shared bathroom's are awesome and annoying all at the same time) and head out. Today I am going to the Cemetery where Oscar Wilde was buried. Very excited about that.
