ok, since I'm going to be out for a few days, and I'm feeling inspired, I'm going for a full length journal entry! Don't be afraid, it's just this once. 
So I go in for surgery on my shoulder in about 3 hours. If all goes well, I'll be able to go home tonight. Recovery will be a long slow process, and I'm not looking forward to it. Some things just have to be done though.
It's a busy week on top of the whole surgery business. I'm in the process of refinancing my condo and trying to buy some land in the mountains. I need a place to build my super-green, super-effecient, all-solar dream house. Land is really expensive around here, so finding something I can afford is pretty tough.
I'm really hungry right now. I'm not allowed to eat or drink for 12 hours before surgery - not even water.
well, that's about it. Think good thoughts for me

1. Do you prefer a scheduled or unscheduled daily life?
2. If you could have a year of pure free time what would you do with it?
3. Do you remember your dreams?
1. I like some ritual in my day, but I much prefer unscheduled life.
2. It would be a toss-up between building a house & traveling the world.
3. Not all the time, but when I do, they're very vivid & real. I had a dream I was a dinosaur that was so real, it gave me the creeps.

1. i like a little ritual in my life..not overkill though.
2. i'd go see as much music as possible and of course come visit you and stubert.
3. i remember my dreams mostly every night, rarely have nightmares and when i do they're usually on the comedic side.....
