Welp I got my stitches out today. Woo! Bout time. I asked my doc about the fever and what did he say? "Oh, don't worry about it, it's nothing." Erkay, doc. YOU are the expert, not me....but if a low-grade fever does not go away with fever-reducing meds...hangs around for 7 days...I'm gonna say it's not NOTHING. Arg. Well whatever. Now that the stitches are out, maybe my skin will be less squished and pissed off, so the fever might STAY gone. and I cannot begin to tell you how RELIEVED I am, that my tummy is not HUGE anymore. Lol. I was freaking out thinking that my belly button was gonna look deformed forever and I was going to keep the 6 pounds I gained after surgery. Nooooo way! Nothing is gonna make me fat, NOTHING. Haha. Had two kids, melted the fat right off. By the way, can you IMAGINE me at 190 pounds?! That's what I hit when I was pregnant with my daughter. 190, and a size 16 jeans. NEVER AGAIN, I tell you. 120 lbs, and size 2 is where I belong.
Anyway, I just took this "battle scars" pic of my tummy. I know it's sooo appealing, but decided to share anyway. Shrugs.
