It happens often that I am haunted by a shot. It sticks in my head and rattles around like a marble in a paint shaker, gradually my imperfect memory breaks it down and evolves it from what it actually is into what I want it to be.
On occasion, when I go searching for the original, I find that what I have created pleases me much more greatly than the original which I had believed was so beautiful. Such was the case with this photograph of Fergie:
