So, having diabetes is sucking ass right now.
I stop into the pharmacy to get some more testing strips for my meter, and they tell me they have to keep them behind the counter, cause people steal them. Then I find out for a box of 50 it's a $135.00, yeah, no wonder people are stealing them. So then I have to call my doctor to write me a prescription and have it run through my insurance....
So I'm sitting at my desk, it's about 11:45 and I think, it's slow, I'm going to close my eyes for a sec. Next thing I know someone is waking me up and about 15 minutes have passed. That's right...I passed out at work...nice. I check my sugar and it's down to 50, 130 is normal. I have to down some candy to get it back up until I eat.
I'm still tired.
Hope all you that read this are doing well. I complain, but I am still alive and kicking. Thanksgiving is soon, and that should be a nice 5 days off.
