It's amazing how little things can have such a big impact on your life.
Yesterday I received a fantastic little care package from the beautiful and amazing Miss DelaneyJae. It made me feel wonderful for the entire day. It's almost incredible that someone on the other side of the Atlantic whom I've never even met can make me feel so great.
I've already begun to put together a package to send back, but I still have things I want to pick up. I can't tell you what's going to be in it, though. It's a secret!
Today kicks off the start of my weekend. I don't intend to do anything fun because I am kinda broke. But this is not altogether a bad thing. It means I can apply my time to doing productive things around the house. My kitchen is a mess. I am often baffled by how messy my house can get during the work week when I am hardly even here.
Next week I have my quarterly meeting with my boss. I have a lot of issues to discuss with her. I am going to try to make a list because I am likely to forget some things. Most importantly, I would like to make a move to another department. I am really not cut out for the type of work I am doing right now. I am starting to notice it in the way I deal with the people I work with. I've become very short-tempered and rude. I walk out of work feeling pissed off almost everyday. No more work talk.
Next month is going to be pretty busy. I am planning a trip to Vegas to be with my family for my sister's birthday. Brigitte is my favorite person in the whole world. She's my best friend. I really wish I could be a better brother and spend more time with her. She's not too excited about her birthday because she is so busy with work and school, but maybe we can gather up some people and go out to do something fun anyway.
Also, my buddy Craig will be in next month. I think this is his first leave since he joined the Navy. It creates a bit of a conflict becaus he is going to be here in AZ for much of the time that I will be in NV, but I will find some way to hang out with him.
Finally, Halloween falls on a Friday this month. I've already requested the day off work. I can't even imagine how awesome it's gonna be! I already have my costume picked out, I just have to order it. I'll do that tomorrow. I am hoping that the SGAZ crew will put something together, but even if they don't I have a backup plan. A 'secret' backup plan
