I'm going to AZ (Tuscon) on Wed to meet my boyfriend's mom who is sick and it sounds like...possibly dying. I'm nervous. this trip seems like it's going to be stressful. My man's relationship is strained with his mother in the first place and this trip is kinda like "closure" if she really does take a turn for the worst.

on a brighter note: we are driving back (we fly down) and I have never seen the desert and most of the areas we'll be driving through. it's probably going to take at least 14 hours which I don't look forward to, but I do look forward to taking my camera and seeing things I've never seen before. so hopefully I'll have some pretty pics for you when I return.

I'm sure you'll do just fine at being his rock, you seem like a pretty solid chick to me. Its always hard times that draw you closure to the ones you love. (breathe in, breathe out, shoulders back, chin up) I'm jealous of you're road trip...pictures good.
