I got some shocking news tonight via a text message. It was my ex-wife informing me that she now has a boyfriend. !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her?? Really?? So I texted back "Cool. About damn time."
This is shocking to me on a lot of levels. 1. Because she's not attractive at all. 2. Because it was out of nowhere. 3. If SHE can somehow get a boyfriend, then obviously I shouldn't have a problem finding a suitable woman. 4. Did I mention she's not attractive in the slightest?
Yeah, I know all the cliche's. But really.
The only thing that has me worried is the kids. How will they react. How will he treat them. etc. Once I get my own place and I can settle down and whatnot, I plan on giving the option to my oldest kid on where he wants to live. It's a pipe-dream, but if this new guy isnt working out for him, then there's always the option. Although I don't think the youngest would like that idea. He's basically Nathan's shadow. /sigh.
