I hold a special place in my heart for mushrooms. Anytime I can use them for cooking, I will. Whether fresh on a salad, or tossed in with a stew, you really can't go wrong. Tonight was the latter. I made a Guinness beef stew that I think is amazing. Its a tad on the black peppery side, but I honestly don't mind it. I loves it. I am stuffed to the brim though. I really like to cook. If I hadn't of been rushed out of the grocery store by my sons friend, I had full intention of making frozen chocolate covered banana's. Oh well.

Tomorrow brings the last bit of my laundry, then I'm taking the kids for a nice long walk. I really feel the need to get back into nature. I know I keep saying that, but there's this constant pull. I need to get out IN it. I want to hike. I would ideally like to get away from the city though into some back country. But I realize that I need to put some training into that. My knee's are shot, and they need to be brought back online for the abuse that I"m about to put them through. That's right. Yoga mornings starting Monday before work!!!! Stretchy stretchy yummy goodness. Hello body!!

I'm in a crazy weird mood. Listening to DI.fm chillout as recommended by my good friend......nay.....brother.... m0ngrel. Gotta love them folks, really. They are good peeps, honest.

Anywho, the sleep pirates are calling. Must go sack a pillow, and plunder it for sleepy riches.
